Born & raised in Virginia. Many of you may contest that is not the "South;" I dare you to tell my uncle or grandpa that.
The point is, I was raised in a place where "homemaking" was still considered an art and a great asset to any female. I can hear my grandma telling boys (that we didn't know), "She's pretty & she can cook." Thanks Grandma! (embarassing...but you get used to it)
I am currently living in Utah and working full-time as a technical writer and part-time as a jewelry sales associate. I have my Bachelors in Communication from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. My newest hobby is baking and I've always loved to cook. My boyfriend demolishes everything that I cook & I have to fight for my leftovers for lunch.
I started this blog to share recipes, but I hate posting them and taking pictures of food - so we'll just see what I come up with. This is my place to write & share. It also seemed like a great way to share everyday happenings with my friends & family in Virginia.
